Your Challenger Ignite controller is an active communications
device. With Wifi enabled it has a standby power draw of 160ma.
This can be reduced by turning Wifi off on the controller.
By default the display screen is set to dim after 1 minute,
this can be changed to screen off to further reduce standby draw
within user settings on the controller.
The Challenger heater is supplied 12.5v via your leisure
battery, it is connected via a single red wire with a 20a fuse and
holder on the + terminal. To remove power, remove fuse.
Please run your heater for approx 5 / 10 minutes at full
power / temperature at least once per month if not being used
to keep fuel supply lines fresh, avoiding possible diesel bug.
If running at low temperature for prolonged periods
I.E overnight, please increase to full power for 5 mins
before turning off to clear chamber.
Failure to follow this
procedure can cause the burn chamber to 'coke' and may need
serviced. A de coke is chargeable and not covered under warranty.
